After an awesome display to beat Heworth Hammers 7 - 1, Sheriff Hill took their League winning tally to 7 in a row. A great start to the season putting them top of the table with Ryton Cobras also unbeaten close by. When needed this squad has dug deep to get results and shown that they can play calm football under pressure. There is a long season still ahead but if the improvements continue the way they have been then we can certainly look forward to the rest of the season. The new additions to this team have gelled very well with the players from last year resulting into a team that will take all the beating this season. The hard work shown from all the players not only in matches but also in training really is starting to show. We haven't had everything our own way but have shown that when needed we can dig deep and get results. Keep up the great play lads !!!
